Princess Cruises hiring!

Page Marine Crews (based in Vancouver) will be in Toronto with Princess Cruises from November 8-10, 2011 and interviewing for the following positions:
  • Junior Assistant Pursers (you need hotel front desk experience);
  • Photographers (you need two years freelance or studio experience);
  • Cruise Staff (you need live mic and entertainment or related tour experience);
  • Videographers (you need two years minimum video experience of live events);
  • Boutique staff (two years retail experience in any of the following, jewelry, clothing, giftware, cosmetics, or fragrnces);
  • Sound techs, lighting techs and stage crew (experience in any of the areas);
  • H.R. Manager - experience within the hospitality industry);
  • Sommeliers - experience with international wines; bartenders with high volume and high end experience.

Candidates should have minimum two years dealer experience conducting Blackjack, Dice, American Roulette, Caribbean Stud Poker and various other casino games and should also have proof of completion of Gaming Board and/or Commission approved dealer school or international equivalency.


Responsibilities include (but not limited to):


  • Proof of completion of Gaming Board and/or Commission approved dealer school or international equivalency
  • Conducts all Casino table games according to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Exchanges paper currency for playing chips or tokens and announces the exchanges
  • Ensures that wagers are placed before table gaming proceeds, such as cards are dealt, roulette wheel is spun, or dice are tossed
  • Accurately maintains the handling of cards, dice, chips, money and other gaming equipment at an appropriate rate to maintain the proper pace of the game
  • Informs players of the rules and regulations as the game progresses.
